About Us
Elizabeth Shipiatsky founded Ballet Melange in 2017, providing a performance platform for seasoned professionals and early career artists. We work with national and international choreographers and guest artists to produce professional performances of excellent quality for our growing audience through out Denver and neighboring cities. Ballet Melanege started as a Trainee Company and in 2024 grew to a Professional Ballet Company. Under Ms. Shipiatsky's leadership as Artistic Director, Ballet Melange has produced many full-length ballets including Giselle, Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, and Cipollino, along with several mixed bill performances.
Ballet Melange's diverse repertoire, encompassing classical and contemporary works, offers dancers exciting challenges and opportunities for artistic growth while collaborating with industry leading choreographers and coaches. Our Company is comprised of three divisions, each offering unique opportunities for dancers at various stages of their careers and giving them the chance to contribute to the vibrant cultural landscape of our community through multiple performances each year.
